ECL Series Logic

This section contains listings for ECL (Emitter Coupled Logic) integrated circuits.
Which in the day... provided a faster alternative to TTL (Transistor transistor Logic) i.e the 7400 series, but with the cost of power consumption.
The series comprised of:
Gates,Drivers / receivers, Translators, Latches, flip-Flops, Counters, Shift Registers, arithmetic Functions,Decoders, Memory, checkers,
First invented by IBM (1956) for use in maiframes.
Motorola followed in 1962 with the MECL I series, later followed by MECL II in 1966, MECL III in 1968, 10,000 series in 1971, MECL 10H in 1981.
Fairchild made the F100K series from 1975 onwards.
On-Semi and National Semiconductor ( + others) made the faster ECLinPS series from 1985 onwards.
